((reunited)) a forever friendship.

krissy & myself.

i took the bus downtown to spend the day with krissy, eric & their families. it’s still hard to believe that my best friend of twenty years is getting married in a few short months. where does the time go? i have a feeling i’ll be asking myself that for the rest of my life.

i used to take the bus to school everyday when i went to the U of W, but since moving back to washington i haven’t used public transportation at all. i forgot how much i enjoy it! i absolutely love the people watching & being able to really enjoy the scenic routes around the city.

i arrived early so i walked to pike place market & one of the mustached produce fellas gave me lots of honey crisp apple samples. then i joined in with the occupy seattle folk for some music, singing & dancing. my dance partner was a two year old little lass.

we were next door neighbors for more than ten years & now live a thousand miles apart. the years where our lives were so incredibly interwoven have created a solid foundation that is unfaltering, reassuring, comfortable & ever-evolving. despite the various paths we have taken in life, we have never lost each other & that is just about the greatest gift i can think of.
