i don’t think a day goes by where i don’t count my lucky stars to live in this beautiful corner of the world. i drive across lake washington daily & every morning i take it all in. every evening i drink it up some more. there’s always something new impressing me, giving me reason to stay here just a little longer.

yesterday, while driving to my parents’, i thought the sunset was going to be calm & still. i even pulled over to the side of the road to take a photo because there was something so peaceful about it. but maybe 20 minutes later, it transgressed from calm to a flaming intensity you couldn’t look away from. every minute the sky became more & more vibrant & beautiful.
